Gabriela Bar will participate as an expert in the roundtable discussions during the upcoming Women Leaders in Law, Business and Public Sector Summit 2026, taking place 18–19 March 2026 in Paris.
She will contribute in particular to Panel 1: “Discriminatory biases in the use of artificial intelligence tools.” During the discussion she will represent the FBE New Technology Law Commission and the OIRP Wrocław – Komisja Nowych Technologii.
The panel will focus on a key challenge of modern technologies: how to reconcile rapid technological innovation with equality and the protection of fundamental rights. Although AI systems are often perceived as neutral, in practice they may reproduce or amplify existing structural biases.
The discussion will also take place in the context of emerging regulatory frameworks such as the EU Artificial Intelligence Act and the Council of Europe Convention on Artificial Intelligence, which set new standards for the development and governance of artificial intelligence systems.
