We care about your personal data. We make every effort to ensure high standards of privacy protection – from technical solutions to organisational measures aimed at securing against unauthorised access or accidental loss of data. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the text below.

When we talk about:

  • The data controller we mean Gabriela Bar Law & AI, Racławicka Center, ul. Skarbowców 23 a, budynek B3, pokój 315, 53-025, Wrocław, Poland www.gabriela.bar and www.ethicsadvisor.ai. We are responsible for the secure processing of your data;
  • Personal data, we understand this as any information that can identify you, directly or indirectly. This can be your name and surname, email address, but also various types of identifiers;
  • The Portal, we mean our website at the domain www.ethicsadvisor.ai;
  • The user, we mean you – our client, potential client, or simply a visitor to our Portal;
  • Cookies, we understand these as small text files that store certain information about you, making it more comfortable to use our Portal.

  1. On what basis do we process your data?

The legal basis for processing your data may be:

  • Necessity to perform a contract or your request for us to take action before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
  • Our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – in relation to processing personal data for the purposes of contacting us, pursuing claims and defending against them, ensuring the security of our IT systems, and for marketing purposes and improving our services;
  • Necessity to fulfil a legal obligation resting on us as the Administrator, mainly resulting from tax law regulations.
  • User’s consent, if we ask about it.

Providing data is voluntary, but in some cases necessary to use our services.

  1. What data do we collect?

Name, surname, email – this is the basis for us to contact you. If you want, you can also provide such data about your phone number or social media profile – it will facilitate communication. Sometimes we need more information – it always depends on the context and legal basis for processing. Then we will ask you for it.

  1. Who has access to your data?
  • Our team, i.e., people who need to have access to them to provide you with our services.
  • External partners, i.e., companies supporting us technically or in accounting or marketing – we always ensure that they adhere to data protection rules. We enter into personal data processing agreements with them.
  • State authorities – in exceptional cases, when required by law.
  1. How long do we process your data?

We do not store your data longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Some we must keep in case of pursuing claims or defence against them or in connection with settlements with the tax authorities.

  1. How do we care for security?

We use various security measures, such as data encryption. We regularly check if everything works as it should, we ensure that the systems we use are constantly updated and secure, in accordance with our Personal Data Protection Policy.

We want you to feel safe using our services and know that your rights are important to us. If you wish to exercise any of the following rights or have any questions or doubts, please contact us at office@gabriela.bar.

  • You decide what information about yourself you want to share with us and how long it should be processed. If you ever change your mind, you can easily request the deletion of your data, and we will comply unless we have a valid reason to continue processing it.
  • Remember, you always have access to your data. You can request their correction, update, or rectification if they are outdated or incomplete. In certain situations, you can also request the restriction of processing of your personal data.
  • You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit those data to another controller.
  • If you disagree with how we process your data (e.g., for marketing or analytical purposes), you can object to this. If we do not have any legally justified interests to continue processing your data, we will accommodate your objection. We will always consider your objection if it concerns data processing for marketing purposes.
  • If processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.

Your personal data are not transferred outside the EU/EEA.

We do not perform profiling or make automated decisions based on the information collected from you.

  • On our website, we use cookies to ensure smooth and comfortable use of the Portal. Our cookies help you navigate the Portal, tailor it to your needs and allow us to understand how you use it.

  • Occasionally, we need to update our Privacy Policy. This may be due to changes in regulations or new technological solutions that we introduce. As soon as something changes, we will let you know through our site, so you’re always up to date.
