A free webinar on the impact of the AI Act on the cultural and creative sector will take place on 3 December. The AI Act sets out the regulatory framework for the development, deployment and use of artificial intelligence in the European Union, and the meeting will discuss its real, practical consequences.
The webinar will focus on two key areas:
• the transparency obligations for AI-generated content (Art. 50 AI Act),
• the role of general-purpose AI models (GPAI), such as ChatGPT, DALL·E or Stable Diffusion.
The programme includes, among others:
– when cultural institutions must label synthetic content,
– what the obligation to inform users about interaction with a chatbot looks like,
– what exceptions are provided for artistic and satirical activities,
– what obligations rest on GPAI model providers,
– what risks users of generative models face,
– what “AI hygiene” is and how to implement it in cultural projects.

Date: 3 December (Wednesday), 11:00–12:30
Participation is free of charge; registration is required. Registered participants will receive a link to the meeting.
Speaker:
Dr Gabriela Bar – attorney-at-law, founder of Gabriela Bar Law & AI, AI ethics advisor in EU projects, expert in AI law and ethics, listed among Forbes’ “25 Best Business Lawyers” and TOP100 Women in AI in Poland.
